Robert Kretzschmar is the President of the State Archives of Baden-Württemberg in Germany and teaches at the History Department of the University of Tübingen. He studied historical sciences at the universities of Tübingen and Innsbruck and was trained as an archivist in the State Archives of Baden-Württemberg and by the Archives School in Marburg.
